Safeguarding at MathsTutorHelp

MathsTutorHelp is committed to providing a safe, respectful and supportive learning environment for every student, whether tuition takes place online, in person or in a group class.

Our Commitment

  • Mr Sheraz holds an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check, confirming he is suitable to work with children
  • In-person group classes take place in a supervised setting at Levenshulme High School or another confirmed tuition venue, never in a private, unsupervised location
  • Online one-to-one sessions are conducted through an agreed online platform, and we encourage a parent or guardian to be aware of when sessions take place
  • We do not communicate with students privately outside lesson time or agreed contact channels; WhatsApp messages relating to lessons are normally sent to the parent or guardian’s number, not directly to a child under 16 unless otherwise agreed

If You Have a Concern

If you have any safeguarding concern about a lesson, a member of staff or anything else related to a student’s welfare, please contact us directly and as soon as possible:

We take all concerns seriously and will respond promptly.

Our Approach

  • We keep any safeguarding-related records securely and confidentially, in line with our Privacy Policy
